This Privacy Policy explains how Retro Boss handles information relating to its players.
Audience and age-range verification
Retro Boss is intended for people aged 13 and older. Before initializing advertising or analytics services, the game asks the player to select a neutral age range: under 13, 13 to 17, or 18 and older. This selection is stored only on the device.
- People who indicate that they are under 13 cannot access the game, and no advertising or analytics SDK is initialized.
- For people aged 13 to 17, the Unity Analytics SDK is not initialized. Advertising requests receive age-appropriate treatment for teens, without personalization and with content rated for general audiences.
- For people aged 18 and older, Analytics remains disabled until the player makes an affirmative choice. Applicable advertising choices are presented through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
Data stored only on the device
The game uses Unity's local storage (PlayerPrefs) to save progress, gold, unlocked rooms, privacy preferences and age range. MunhraSoft Games does not send this progress data to its own server. It can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
Rewarded advertising
Retro Boss uses Google AdMob to offer optional rewarded videos. Players can continue without watching an ad. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share the following information with Google:
- IP address, which may indicate an approximate location;
- interactions with the app and advertising, such as app launches, taps and ad views;
- diagnostic information and app or SDK performance data;
- device or installation identifiers, including the advertising identifier when permitted.
This information is used for ad delivery and measurement, analytics, security and fraud prevention. Data is encrypted in transit. For players aged 13 to 17, the game applies the SDK's treatment for teen users, disables personalized advertising, limits content to a general-audience rating and indicates that the user is under the age of consent.
At each applicable launch, UMP checks whether a consent message is required. When required, the Privacy menu allows the player to reopen advertising privacy choices.
For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Optional Unity Analytics for adults
For players who indicate that they are 18 or older, the game requests separate consent before enabling Unity Analytics. If authorized, the game sends events concerning:
- level completion and the amount of gold earned;
- rewarded-ad offers, acceptance or refusal;
- ad failures and reward grants.
These events may be associated with a technical installation identifier. The SDK may also process approximate location, diagnostics, performance information and technical device data. We do not send names, email addresses, messages, contacts, photos, precise location or financial data to Unity Analytics.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time through the Privacy menu. The same menu allows the player to request deletion of data associated with the installation. Analytics remains disabled for players under 18.
See the Unity Privacy Policy for game players and app users.
Sharing, purposes and retention
MunhraSoft Games does not sell personal data. Data processed by the SDKs is shared with Google and Unity, which operate under their own terms and policies to provide advertising, analytics, security, fraud prevention and technical support.
Google and Unity may process information in other countries. Retention periods are determined by these providers and their settings. Requests relating to access, correction or deletion can be sent to munhrasoft.play@gmail.com.
Security
The providers state that they use encryption in transit. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, but we limit collection to what is necessary for the features described here and keep Analytics disabled without affirmative consent.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the game, its SDKs or legal requirements change. The date shown at the beginning of this document will indicate its most recent revision.
